Task Lists

The main task list

This is your homepage, and where you’ll probably spend most of your time. Add your tasks from here, and see what’s currently on your plate.

The main task list only shows the tasks you can do right now — “available tasks”.

You can filter the main list by size and work types, in case you’re in the mood for particular kinds of tasks.

Help choosing tasks

If you’re struggling to pick from your list, there’s a couple of buttons to help you.

The shuffle task list button, which reorders the tasks currently shown in your list. Use this to get a fresh look at the tasks you’ve been staring at for too long.

The random task button, which takes to you to one of the tasks currently shown in your main list. Use this when you just can’t choose what to get started on.

And of course, you can always use the Help! link at the top to get more support choosing tasks when everything is too hard.

The “All tasks” list

This shows you all the incomplete (not status Done or Nope) tasks in your system, regardless of whether they are currently available. This includes all your ideas, things you are waiting on, blocked tasks and things you can’t start yet. This view is useful for getting an overview of what’s coming up soon, or ideas you’ve forgotten you had.
